Most special events occur once in a lifetime -- especially those that mark a rite of passage such as a baby shower, naming ceremony, milestone birthday, special anniversary, graduation, engagement, family reunion, and more. I stick with a true-to-life documentary style, weaving in and out to capture key moments, emotions, and details of significance. I am guided by picturing what the ideal "final album" would look like and the story it will tell, making sure to fill it with a cohesive variety of complimentary images (e.g., candid moments, posed portraits, environmental details, close-ups, grand sweeping views, and more).
